Whenever I have the "Sunshine on My Shoulders" I always remember this song. It brings back very happy memories of listening to this as a child, like others, because of my parents. Thanks John.

Even though he was sappy as Hell, JD will always have a place in my heart. When I was little my family took a road trip from Jersey to Florida. The our of us kids were in the back of my Dads pickup cab/camper. All my parents played constantly was the Country Roads album which we all sung along to and had memorized. Good memories. Thks John.....oh, and Mom and Dad!

John Denver... thanks for all these great songs.
we'll never forget you.
sometimes, the good ones are leaving too soon.

This is a very nice song and all... but I don't think it really makes Mr. Denver happy at all. He sounds very depressed. Listening to it makes me feel depressed and melancholy. Not at all happy.
